Galina Rozenberg, Pianist

Galina Rozenberg, born in 1999 to parents of Russian descent, took her first steps toward a unique musical adventure at the age of five. She began her musical studies under the guidance of Dina Khudayberdieva, a performer and a piano teacher at the Cleveland Music School Settlement. Galina started giving public performances at the same age, and this provided her with opportunities to develop confidence and comfort on stage. She has given recitals at Festivals for Young Artists through Ohio Music Teacher Association and at Cleveland State University. She has also been regularly performing at the Cleveland Music School Settlement, the Mattlin-Hyde Steinway Hall, and several local churches.

Galina continues to develop her already unique and personal style of communicating through music. She periodically takes master classes and studies with Alex Leybkind, a professional pianist from Uzbekistan. Further influence on her approach to music comes from the family whose musical traditions go back many generations. Galina’s favorite composers at this time are Rachmaninoff and Chopin. In addition to performance activities, she also enjoys playing clarinet and is an avid tennis player.

Galina’s vision for her music career is to continue to refine her piano skills by studying in specialized music programs and taking master classes from accomplished musicians.
